Colorado
Well we have been in Colorado since July, I have to say we live in a beautiful area.
Our house is located on a Golf course, we have amazing views and the neighborhood is quiet.
Pat has settled into his position here nicely, and I am currently enjoying a little peace and quiet, in other words I am bored. LOL
We have visited Cripple Creek and have gone to the top of Pikes Peak, and one of the most beautiful places ever, the Garden of the Gods.
Four years is a long time to some people and I have met some Canadians here who cannot wait to get back to Canada, and as much as I would like to be there I can not believe how beautiful it is here.
I miss my friends and my family, but I keep in contact, hard not to when we have e-mail, the phone, skype, facebook and what not. It's a modern world and it makes it easier to know that even though I am so far from them physically that they are still always there for me and I can still be there for them.
So I am taking this adventure one day at a time and will make the most of the opportunities that we are given.
We have made some good friends already, and the hockey season has started up already so I get to watch Pat play and ref. Yup, a little piece of Canada here in Colorado( as the league is comprised of Force members here from Canada, with a couple of Americans here and there.)
Hope everyone is doing well, and I really must try to blog more often.
