HOCKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Sunday he broke another Hockey stick...
Tonight he managed not to break another, however he knocked out the other teams Goalie!!!
THAT'S MY MAN!!!
It was so worth waiting all day to go watch the game. He Scored a goal on Sunday and another tonight.
Way to go Hon.

Where the Time Goes...

Well let's see it's been 6 months since I moved out here to Cold Lake with Pat. So I figured I would just re-cap quickly what I've been doing and what I've been feeling since leaving home.
I was out here for two weeks and got myself a job because I was BORED out of my tree.
I like my job, I'm working with decent people and make a decent wage. I've made a couple of friends. I went camping with Pat to Crane Lake in August. In October we went to Edmonton so I could be measured for my knee brace, and went to the West Ed. Mall and watched Open Season at the IMAX in 3D. In November I celebrated my 30th birthday. In December we flew to Ontario for Christmas with his family. We spent New Year's Eve watching movies with friends. In two day sit wil be the first day of February and it it will mark 7 months since I have been living here.
There is no doubt about it that I miss my family and friends dearly. I look forward to next Christmas when I will be in my home town, spending the holidays with my family and friends and with the man that I love.
Am I sorry that I moved out here? No.
I am happy to be out here. I am happy, and that is because I am with someone that I care so much about and I know that he loves me too.
I hope that all of you are happy and healthy.

Just got off the phone

*Phone rings*
"Hello?"
*The voice on the other end* "You called?"
*a big smile crosses my face*"No I didn't."
*the voice on the other end*"But I hit recall and it was your number."
"No Dad I didn't call but I was thinking about calling you guys. Actually I just came in the door."
"Oh, well then I'll let you go so you can get your coat off and you can call us back."
"Okay Dad."
So I just got off of the phone with Mom and Dad, so nice to hear them.
Talked for a little while with Mom and then Dad, so yes now I am smiling from ear to ear.
Not to say that I don't call them, I try to call when I can, I cacll Angie and the girls about every two weeks or so to get my dose of the kids, and I try to call Mom and Dad every three weeks or so. Afterall I can e-mail and talk to them on MSN where as I can't with ANgie, mind you I can with the girls when they are on sometimes.
I love my family greatly and I am glad that even though the miles may seperate us they are never no further away than a phone call.

Up and at 'Em

Well I've been up and showered for a couple of hours now, I still have bout 15 minutes before waking up Pat, of course I have to remember to start the truck up before I wake him...
Made uncooked cookies and brought them to work yesterday, it has been determined the next time I bring them I have to make a double batch as they were gone by 11am, so they lasted a grand total of 2 hours....Go figure.
Pat cut his hair last night before getting ready to go to the mess dinner he was playing at last night...he had the wrong attachment on the clippers and, well, his head kinda looks like a big egg*L*, at least that is what I told him after I laughed...
It's wayyyyyyyy to short! Usually he leaveds a bit more on the top than the sides, which is a good thing....but..well..yah...
I d on't know what the heck I was dreaming the other night but whatever it was had to have been funny because everytime I woke up I was laughing. I'd rather wake up like that than in a crany mood like I did today...Must be that time.

Cooking Supper

well as the title says I am cooking supper, I am making meatloaf tonight.
We went grocey shopping today, and then took a spin over to Wal-Mart where I finally got myself something with Burton's gift card he gave me for Christmas, so Burt, you got me the same thing you did the ast time you got me a gift card...A new DVD player and a DVD.
The DVD player will be going in my bedroom along with the tv that was in Pat's room, then next paycheck I wil go and get a spiter and the wire so that I can hae cable in my room to boot, I guess that means I am going to have to either take down the spare bed or do some creative re-arranging...
Anyway, must attend to supper take care and Lots of Love.

Morning

Wel I'm getting ready to go to work and figured I would take a couple of minutes to check in with the blog world. Not much going on around here, we got the gift cards fromMom and Dad, and from Burton...so far we have gotten the new tv stand and the 4 disc special edition of Chronicles of Narnia.
They are calling for blizzard conditions tonight, woohoo.
Anyway gonna get going, just figured I would touch base, enjoy the pictures...how did go go from that to this...oh well further proof that I was once adorable and that my natural hair color is indeed black(even if you think it is too dark for me Mom)

Hi all well thought I would just drop in long enough to say hi before I watch a movie, and thought I woud share with you this picture Mom sent to me this evening. I love it,
Oh as for the title, it's because I made peanut buter fudge with a layer of chocolate, mmmm.
I ws teasing Mom about it earlier today. I made Potato pancakes for supper, haven't had them in so long...*S*see yum.

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year to everyone.
I worked from 8-2 yesterday, had today off, so i'm relaxing.
We watched a movie last night with our neighbors. So it was a nice quiet night.
